key-key goes back outside

The "bring the outside cat inside experiment" has failed miserably, unless having everything that one owns peed on by a cat is considered a success. Key-key is an outside cat again.

I feel your pain! I had to throw Beezer outside last Spring because I got tired of his constant spraying of baseboards, doors, and curtains. This is a cat that has been fixed and indoors all his life--until now. He is very fat, so has been ok all winter but he gets lonely and cries at the back door all day when I'm home. He wants the other cats to come out or to come in. I let him in for short periods, but monitor him closely. It hurts having to leave him outside, but I couldn't have him ruining everything inside.

I had the same problem with my cat. After ruling out a bladder infection, I was desperate. After doing some research online, I bought cat litter called Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract at a pet shop and it seemed to work instantly. It costs more than regular cat litter, but if you clean the box each day, it lasts a long time. It was a miracle.

Key-Key has been so completley obviously happy to be outside, it has been a real relief. She greets us at the front steps and rolls around and rubs on everything. This turned out to be very much the right thing to have done, considering that in her heart she was an outside cat anyway.
