Fredericksburg, Virginia

We recently rolled around Fredericksburg, Virginia, soaking up the downtown area and some old houses.

Fredericksburg is an interesting little city. There are great and sprawling junk/antique stores, and on the weekend day that we were there the sidewalks were crowded with people. The scale and era of the city are both very similar to Petersburg, but like a mirror image -- thriving, clean, expensive... More photos of downtown Fredericksburg and the houses are @ Flickr.
