for benches or something

We've scavenged two enormous pieces of wood that was discarded from the conversion of Southern Stoveworks.

We're not real sure what to use these for, but they were so impressive that we had to snag'em.

Southern Stoveworks is a turn-of-the-last-century industrial site that had fallen into partial re-use as storage that is now being converted into condominiums. It is across the street from an old meatpacking plant that has already been condoed. My Uncle Red remembers this area as being Richmond's meat packing district; it is an area that has been light industrial and empty-feeling as long as I've known the city.
