the abandoned house next door

The city came by and cut the grass of the abandoned house next door (previously). This is apparently a biannual service... As soon as they were finished, we went over and scattered a bag of wildflower seeds over the front yard.

The empty house already has the best dogwood on the block. If these seeds take and the plants bloom into a full yard of flowers, we'll have had a hand in some great pirate landscaping.
