It is important that a three-legged cat is not allowed to become obese because he has fewer limbs on which to distribute his weight.*.

Our newest routine visitor is a three-legged cat of which we do not know the age or gender. We don't have name for it yet, either -- any suggestions?

I recommend calling the cat "end" - short for Legend. Afterall he/she is missing a leg.

How about "Triceratops" as in "At least I don't have a horrible three-horned face!" You could call him "Tops" for short.

I punted this to larger forum. We're going to try on the suggested 'mitsu' (a Japanese counting number for 3) and see how that fits...
