in the beginning

A few more photos from a week into the project. We've managed to clear out some of the yard and the house is starting to show through.

My husband and I just looked at the pictures. What a mess, but what a beautiful home. Good god, I couldn't imagine this. We are restoring a turn of the century home out here in the city of Franklin, but it was in pretty decent shape. Our research shows us as the fourth family to own the house. But many other historic homes in our neighborhood have been turned into multi-family homes. I'm going to pass this on to my friends in our neighborhood, maybe I can spark some interest in stopping our deteriorating neighborhood from getting worse!! Best wishes with your project.
