porch progress

The framing inspection on the porch went well, and we’ve* since put down the tongue&groove floor and rebuilt the bottoms of the columns.

The porch roof had been jacked up on 2×10s for something like 8 weeks, it is nice to see them gone.

*We on this has mostly been Jim at Reveal, with us as labor and helpers. Next up is sanding & bondo & sanding to clean up some of the details, with which we may be able to be self-sufficient.

Jacking the porch up exposed some rot at one corner that now needs to be dealt with. OF COURSE.
