The “they cut down the wrong tree” fiasco has been resolved! Flournoy came out over the weekend and planted a Red Bud tree that is big enough to be ok.

done framing, awaiting inspection

We’ve finished framing the porch and have called for the inspection. The voice on the automated system for requesting inspections by the city (646-0770) has an insanely deep voice.

the cat is broken

Two of the feral cats that came with the house, Key-Key and Teeny, are still around, having doubled the 2-year average life-span for ferals. We’ve picked up a new boy cat along the way; today was his day to go the vet and get fixed.
