towards getting the floors refinished
Just over three years after getting the upstairs floors refinished, we’ve preparing to get the downstairs done. To be ready, we’ve had to patch the holes where the ductwork used to run

freshly sanded floors
The floor guys were able to start a day earlier that we’d expected. Day 1 was a heavy sanding of the 3 rooms and the hallway.

refinished floors
In what was the last hurdle to actually being able to live downstairs, the floors downstairs have been de-painted, unsplintered, sanded, and refinished. And they are bee-yoo-tee-full!

cat liberation day
Today is the day that: 1) the new inside cat gets set free from her quarantine, and 2) she and the other 4 will be given access to the newly livable downstairs. If you hear a ruckus, it’s just us…
