plus/minus one cat

Soon after we got the house, a litter of kittens was born in the crawlspace. Being fixed and fed, a few have stuck around and even attracted other wayward cats. We seem to have a new one this summer…

Key-key on the left, Skinny under the porch.

There is a youngish black&white boy cat that has been around now long enough to acknowledge. We left him unamed for a few weeks and then started calling him Skinny (not ironically like you’d call a big guy Slim or a bald guy Curly). He is not quite as shy as most of the street cats around here and is one of those cats that will ‘talk’ to you. Sometimes he’ll be hanging-out cat-style in the crawlspace, hear us walking around above and then start meowing at us.

Key-key is here every day and Teenie (who has gotten pretty big) shows up every once in a while. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen Mitsu or Weenie in quite some time.
